The new owner of Ghillies Kitchen

Staring in the prestigious Culloden House Hotel at the age of 16, Ken has gone on to work in an array of kitchens across the world.

After completing his studies at the Athlone Institute Of Technology he moved to Australia, travelling and working up the Gold Coast and catering for Royalty in Prince Charles at the Geelong Grammar School.

On returning to Scotland, working in hotels and restaurants up and down the country he progressed from Commis Chef all the way up to Head Chef, before opening a Bistro on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.

Returning home 16 years ago, he joined his good friend Scott Murray to help develop Cru Hospitality and has owned and operated 10 of the Highland’s top venues.

Now onto a new challenge, taking his knowledge of fine dining and customer service he hopes to take Ghillies Kitchen to new heights.
